ClosedMold Composites’ current facilities are optimized for fast, flexible, cost-efficient development of smaller composite products and components.
All the equipment necessary for development and initial low rate production of components up to 7” by 9” by 5” in size are one-site, including 4 axis CNC tool machining, manual vertical mill and lathe, CAD solids modeling and CNC cutter path generation, press welding.
Process equipment includes 3 12 ton Hydraulic Presses, Blue M Laboratory Grade Convection Oven, 2 Laboratory Grade Vacuum ovens, High quality vacuum system, normal and high pressure air systems, deep freeze material storage, etc.
